BEAR, DE, June 14, 2010 – AdvoServ Inc., a leading operator of residential group homes and related education programs for the treatment of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and severe behavioral challenges, today announced that it has named John Stupak Chief Operating Officer and Brett J. McIntyre Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Stupak and Mr. McIntyre join AdvoServ’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Judith Favell, and Chief Program Officer, Mr. Robert Bacon, completing appointments to the company’s senior executive team.
AdvoServ recently received a significant capital investment from GI Partners, a leading trans-Atlantic private equity firm, to help lead the future growth of this private specialist healthcare services provider.
During its 40-year history, AdvoServ has established a strong reputation within the specialist behavioral healthcare sector and is highly regarded for its state-of-the-art behavioral treatment techniques which use advanced data analysis and highly individualized programs.

Mr. Stupak has 25 years of experience with human services organizations and has successfully managed the multi-state growth of those companies while also managing quality enhancement initiatives. Most recently, Mr. Stupak served as President of Sequel/TSI Holdings, a provider of specialty behavioral health treatment for adolescents. He was VP of NHS Human Services, where he began his career in 1984, and also served in senior management positions with Grant Thornton and the Mentor Network. He is a graduate of Temple University and also received his M.S.W. from that school.
Mr. McIntyre is experienced in developing highly functional finance teams capable of supporting refined growth strategies that align well with market opportunities and functional excellence. He most recently was Chief Financial Officer of Universal Health Care Group, Inc. and held the same position prior to that with APS Healthcare, Inc. He has also held management positions with Humana Inc. and TALX Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his M.B.A. from Columbia University School of Business.
